Nino left the stage, exhausted to the point of collapsing if he couldn’t find a resting place in the next minute, but practically glowing from the events prior to his exit. He entered the dressing room, already prepared for the looks and comments, but he could hardly care at a moment like this, could he? He’d done it and he couldn’t, no, wouldn’t take it back. Not even if Johnny called up with a first class ticket out of the jimusho, which was a definite possibility.
“What the hell was that?” Jun growled, jumping up the moment he entered the room.
“Oh, take the stick out of your ass,” Nino replied flippantly. “It was a joke, and the fans liked it, so don’t go knotting up those knickers of yours.”
“It was a joke? That’s your idea of a joke?” Jun cried, not taking the situation as lightly as Nino seemed to be. “You just kissed Oh-chan in front of thousands of people, not to mention news cameras and people with video phones. This is going to be everywhere and Johnny is going to be pissed.”
Aiba looked up from the magazine he’d been absorbed in, “Johnny likes publicity and this is going to be huge publicity, isn’t it? Anyway, it wasn’t like he got down on one knee or anything. It was a stupid kiss and Nino isn’t known to be the most hands-to-himself guy.”
“He likes good publicity,” Sho corrected, “And I don’t believe this falls under that category.”
“Publicity is publicity,” Aiba shrugged, “Besides, it was during Ohmiya SK; nobody will really think it’s anything other than a part of the skit.”
“Whatever. When Johnny calls and chews him out, I’m not saying a word,” Jun threw his hands up, walking to the shower and out of sight.
Nino had barely noticed the conversation. He’d been watching Ohno chewing on a nail on the couch next to Sho. Above everyone else, even Arashi and Johnny, Nino only cared about his opinion on the matter. Sensing his eyes, Ohno turned to him and shrugged, the picture of indifference and Nino found his heart beating rapidly, suddenly nervous.
Sho and Aiba followed Jun sooner or later, shooting mixed looks at the two men as they exited. Aiba noticed the two’s staring showdown and gave a quick wink as he left, leaving Nino flushed and awkward while Ohno’s facial expression had barely changed.
“So, what does this mean?” Ohno finally spoke a few minutes after the room had been cleared, looking expectantly at the younger band mate as if he held all the answers.
“What do you want it to mean?” Nino shot back nervously, suddenly aware of the sickening feeling in his stomach that was quickly getting hard to ignore.
The older man shrugged again, “Well, the world probably suspects us now.”
“So you want to, you know, try… us?” Nino stuttered, his face radiating so much heat he could warm the room.
Ohno snorted quietly, “Sure.”
“O-okay then,” Nino was entirely unsure about what had just happened.
“Okay then,” Ohno repeated, chuckling slightly at Nino’s flushed face just as Jun came bursting back into the room.
“Johnny’s on the phone and he doesn’t sound pleased,” he smiled smugly, completely overlooking the awkward atmosphere in the room. “So Nino-chan, my dear, good luck and I’m going back to the hotel.”
Nino looked to Ohno, suddenly desperate for an escape route, “You take it! Tell him I’m in the shower or something.”
His band mate gave him a small, encouraging smile, “It was actually tens of thousands of people, so I think I’ll hitch a ride back with Matsujun. See you!”
With that, he trotted out of the room at his usual unhurried pace, leaving Nino to glare at the doorway even moments after he’d disappeared down the hallway.

drabbles100 or more relevant to Johnny's, randomicicle 's 100 Akame Scenes (I've already talked to her about this, please no flogging). I just figured that Ohmiya could use one for themselves, so presto! Truthfully, this wasn't my favourite one I've written thus far, but I'm starting with Beginnings and ending with Endings, so it had to be done. I'm always really nervous posting a new series, so I sincerely hope you enjoy this. I have a lot of fun writing these, so I hope they are just as much fun to read.
